New Players welcome every Sunday
Re: New Players welcome every Sunday
Hi guys, My son Danny is now at burnham training as a medic, he has spread the airsoft word and has some army boys keen to play. I will pass on your contact details to him, Hope they get to have fun at your place.
Cheers Tony
P.S. he has his Kar98 and pistol but the others will need guns.

No worries Tony, only a short drive from Burnham to our field and there is a plentiful supply of guns to keep them happy.

We play in a dedicated Airsoft field just 10 minutes west of the Christchurch Airport in the McLeans Island Recreational Area.

If you have recently purchased a BB gun and would like to join a progressive club with a full focus on fun and enjoyment of the sport of Airsoft then come on out and join us for a game.
TAG caters to all levels of player, the veteran that wants to hone the skills, or the newbie wanting to learn the tactics and have some fun. Airsoft is a fast paced 'paintball' style game played with BB guns that shoot 6mm plastic BB's. It is less painful than paintball & faster paced. The guns are in most cases significantly cheaper also.
A low initially outlay for equipment makes this an affordable sport. A new gas pistol and a few spare magazines can cost around $250, add to that some camo-overalls and safety goggles and you can be in the game with all you need to compete at an even level.
If you are interested in coming out for a day and trialling the sport, we can arrange guns & gear and can often arrange transportation also.
Send me a PM, email or give me a ring if you have any further questions.

Re: New Players welcome every Sunday
The first few games don't cost you anything if you have your own gear. We will need to check your gun to see that it complies with our maximum power rules though - 350fps on.2gm bb's
Re: New Players welcome every Sunday
hi there im really keen to get into airsoft next year (not this year because in full time study and also cant pay for it
) and i was just wondering (after trying it out) what would the main things i would need to start playing?
Also i think i know one of the guys in the 'Mcleans island Open Day 31st Oct 2010' photo gallery post, i should talk to him too?
Im just sick of call of duty because it makes you braindead, you dont get an adreniline rush and you certainly do not get any fitter. And its far from being real.
Cheers
Rawr
P.S the guy i think i know in one of the pics i know him as Roi, i think hes currently in the course im on
