Airsoft technicalities

Hey guys I'm getting a WE XM177E2 and Cybergun Colt 1911(w/ VT upgrades) from SWIT airsoft. I'm just wondering what is the best combination of green gas, bb caliber and fps adjustment to get the best range and accuracy for both guns mentioned while still being field legal. Any ideas?

Re: Airsoft technicalities

Hi Pancakes

Are you aware of the permit to import requirements for airsoft guns? If not we can give you a runthrough at your next game. As for the WE GBB, most of us aren't super well versed on the upgrade path for WE GGB platforms. Several of our members (in the past who don't play anymore) have bought WE GBB's and had them be extremely shitty out of the box; resulting in having to spend 2x the initial value of the gun to get them working; and then they still don't work very well.

It might be best to see if there are any other non-WE options available on the net. In my opinion; WE-Tech is a bit of a meme.

Re: Airsoft technicalities

If you're new to airsoft or don't have experience with GBBR's don't even bother looking at WE, It'll most likely be in pieces most of the time trying to find out what's wrong with it every time you use it.
That being said their AR platforms are "OK", a cheaper alternative to the other options out there but they're cheaper for a reason and sooner rather than later you'll start having to replace parts. I would only suggest a WE if they are the only maker of a particular gun and you accept the costs involved or have the intention to convert it to hpa.
As said best look for other options.

Yeah honestly I will just look for other guns and consider my options and yes I am aware of the permit to import. Thanks
