New Players welcome every Sunday

TAG runs a game every Sunday for people in the Canterbury area that would like to play. Times are 8:45am until approximately 2pm.

We play in a dedicated Airsoft field just 15 minutes outside of Christchurch.

LOCATION OF TAG AIRSOFT

If you have recently purchased a BB gun and would like to join a progressive club with a full focus on fun and enjoyment of the sport of Airsoft then come on out and join us for a game. We also have club guns available for hire for those without BB guns of their own.

TAG caters to all levels of player, the veteran that wants to hone the skills, or the newbie wanting to learn the tactics and have some fun. Airsoft is a fast paced 'paintball' style game played with BB guns that shoot 6mm plastic BB's. It is less painful than paintball & faster paced. The guns are in most cases significantly cheaper also.

A low initial outlay for equipment makes this an affordable sport. A new gas pistol and a few spare magazines can cost around $250, add to that some camo-overalls and safety goggles and you can be in the game with all you need to compete at an even level.

If you are interested in coming out for a day and trialing the sport, we can arrange guns & gear and can often arrange transportation also.

Send me a PM, email or give me a ring if you have any further questions.

Re: New Players welcome every Sunday

Welcome Amuz3,

One of the guys will PM you sometime in the near future with all the details.

TAG allow 4 free games (excluding gun hire) for prospective members to try out our great sport.

Airsoft can be a expensive sport depending on what you want to do, but in saying that its only as expensive as you make it.

Before buying a new Airsoft weapon talk to the other members at a game. They will be keen to give you advise, see what you like the look of and feel of.

So how many games do I need to attend before I can apply for membership please? I have some experience in Airsoft but if you require me to be buddied up with someone, then 'bring it on'

Cheers,
Blair

New members get 4 Free games, then they apply and go on a probationary period.
I am Not sure But since your a seasoned veteran and well known to the Airsoft community you might bypass the normal TAG probationary period ?

Either Nem,Mouse,Acey will confirm.

Anyway..........Welcome to TAG Blair

Re: New Players welcome every Sunday

Hi all.
I've been to the last couple of weekends' games and had an awesome time, and now I'm thinking about joining the club. What's the score with membership? i.e.:
- how much does it cost and who/when do I pay?
- how much does it cost for members to rent club guns/buy ammo?

Not sure if I'll be able to come along this weekend as I may be up in the mountains, but if I'm in Chch then I'll be keen.

Cheers,
Richard (aka 'Jesse's flatmate... no, not that one, the other one, with the brown hair and the old-school combat jacket')

PS/ I was just wondering - do people use biodegradable ammo, or plastic? I couldn't tell from looking at it.

PPS/ Is there a map of the field somewhere that shows where the bases/points of interest are?
