Target practice on a live frog!

Hey folks!

oDn from France here (hence the ridiculous topic subject).
I've been knocking around in Christchurch for a fair amount of time now and a few months ago decided to give up some of my hard earned money in order to buy a couple of GBBs.
Anyway, I was looking around for a nice place to do some basic target practice with my little babies and came across your website.
It would seem that you'll be playing this Sunday 16th and I'd quite like to join in order to pop a few BBs and get a bit of a feel for real airsoft action.
Is it OK to just show up at the field in the morning or are there other formalities that should taken care of first?
I might be needing some gear (essentially clothing) unless you're OK with casual looking guys running around the field!

Just out of curiosity, is just a GBB pistol with a couple of mags enough to play around with? Or do you need to run around with your gas and ammo at all times?

You are welcome to come out on Sunday, be at the gate at 9:30. Pistols are fine for a game, you will probably have to carry gas and bb's unless you are very frugal. Casual gear is fine, just make sure you have some decent footwear (ankles take ages to fix )

The club has some electric guns, $20 will get you a day with one of those if you want to upgrade.

There is no water or food onsite so bring your lunch and something to drink.

What a spam-worthy subject title indeed!
I do have some decent footwear and eye protection so I should be good for gear.
I might consider renting out an electric gun since I've never actually tried one before.
Sleeper van's fully kitted for surviving in the bush so I should be sweet for food and water.
I'll see you on Sunday then. Really looking forward to it!
