where to go to get cheep airsoft guns

I am looking to get started in airsoft, I don't know where to go to get some cheep guns to start me off.

If anyone has any that they are selling, or know anyone selling some, please let me know.

If you're after something cheap, beware it may cost a wee bit more in the long run.

That being said, I would wait untill you have joined the club. Once you join TAG, you will have access to Airsoft New Zealand, which will open you up to all the gear/gun sales from around the country.

In the mean time, for your drooling pleasure there is Ehobby or WGC.

Hey, I'm also in the same boat as you and I thought I'd share what I've found so far.

http://www.ehobbyasia.com - They have a lot of stuff at what seems to be reasonably priced. Based in Hong Kong. Also, they do free semi-auto conversion which I see as a huge bonus. Also they have a coupon code that seems to be working at the moment for 10% off your entire cart (excluding shipping). Type 'weloveairsoft' during your checkout and you should get a 10% discount

http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/ - They also have a lot of stuff, never really looked into this store but from what I've seen, the guys on the forums here seem to recommend it. Don't know about anything special they do like semi-auto conversions though.

You also have your NZ based sites - From what I've gathered, the only up of buying from a NZ based store is not having to deal with customs. Also the all the guns will all be semi-autoed as per NZ Laws, so you won't go to jail

http://www.thearmory.co.nz - I've found that their lack of product description is rather frustating at times, especially for noobies likes us.
http://www.asgc.co.nz - Somewhat decent range, price could do with a little deflation but I guess they have to eat as well

When it comes time I can finally afford a rifle, I'm 90% sure I'll be getting it from ehobbyasia.com because they seem to be a reliable company + discount + semi-auto conversion. I'll be getting my AEG and goggles from there I believe because the goggles I'm getting are about $15USD cheaper than most other online stores.

Also if you're checking out some tactical gear stuff, try http://www.eoutlet.co.nz. They seem to have a LOT of stuff. Site seems a bit dodgy so I'll be testing it out with a couple cheaper stuff first to see if they're reliable or not. Also free shipping within NZ. and 5% -8% discount, unless paying with PayPal or Credit card.

Today I got an email saying that airsoftpark had new deals etc. When I looked, sure enough both sites exist... I wonder if peak is a clever phishing scam/website? I've noticed the email address I used for airsoftpark has recently (the last week or so) been getting a lot of spam, which it hadn't ever done before. Could be that they've had a security breach, hence the temporary shutdown?

One thing I noticed is that the Emerson products were on peak, but not park. Also a bit dodgy that peak only accepts bank transfers or western union transfers, which seems dodgy as hell.
