Keen for a jam

Hey I'm tom and I'd like to get into airsoft (preferably TAG)

Basically what I'm wondering is:
-Is experience required?
-Fees?
-equiptment? (essentially i'd just like to know what i need and recommended places buy stuff)
-is it all year round?

Basically i'd like to make this a weekly thing, it looks like a cool hobby / sport to get into.

Thanks!
Tom :D

Re: Keen for a jam

Hey Tom. You've made an excellent start.

To answer your questions:

No experience necessary. We have players of all experience levels, so you will fit right in.

New players have their first four games for free. At the end of the four games, players submit their membership application form. If approved, the costs are $75 for 6 months (on a pro rata basis) through to December. There is also an additional $10 charge for use of our CQB facility (payable once per month).

To start off with, you don't need anything. $20 will get you a club gun with all the ammo you will need for the day, including eye protection. If you decide airsoft really is the sport you want to get in to, you can decide what kind of gun you're wanting aswell as your price range and we can direct you from there. Most gear is optional, so it is really up to you what you want to game with.

We play all year round.

And you're right, this is a pretty awesome hobby/sport to get in to. I have no regrets so far :)

Except Sneakers could have been a millionaire by now if he didn't get into airsoft :P

Having only recently started airsoft and it being my first hobby/team based sports (if you can call it that) I also have 0 regrets except if I could, I would totally rethink my gear, i.e. buy a good aeg first THEN think about buying a pistol...spent too much on a pistol that has quickly become an over sized paper weight :/

No firearms license required. You must be 18 or over to legally own one.
