SRC Xm8 custom job

SRC Xm8

First when bought i had to reinforce the hand grip and barrel assembly

I first drilled from the outside into the barrel system where there was a metal plate to anchor
the hand guard frame i also had to fill the gap with a 3-ml thick piece of aluminum to stop damage of the hand guard then used hex bolts to fasten together.

In doing that it aloud me to be able to put on a m203 grenade launcher short
then added length to the end of the launcher

Then i raised the scope mount with 10-ml wide aluminum plating allowing me to add deferent types of scopes

Then placed a velcro pouch onto the stock for a 11.1v lipo battery

Iv also extended the barrel to allow me to replace the stock barrel with a 510 ml 6.03 barrel

then placed i fin dense padding onto the scope eye piece the butt of the stock and onto the left top side of the stock for comfort

new photos will be up shortly to update old ones

thanks let me know what you think

Sorry for the necro but this the only good dmr looking xm8 I've found on the internet. It looks absolutely incredible. How did you extend the outer barrel?

I don't think the OP frequents the forums anymore but you can get barrel extenders of different lengths that thread onto the standard 14mm threads. That's the most common way of extending barrels if you have some sort of proprietary barrel with no replacement parts available.

I'd give you a link but I'm on my phone. It should be pretty easy to google though.
