Hi There
There are a few shops in NZ which are specific to airsoft; here are the main ones.
Airsoft Guns - ChristchurchAirsoft Unimited - I've dealt with these guys quite a bit, good prices on their higher end stuff.
The Arena - Havn't used them before but a lot of people have and if they have what you want, go for it.
Airsoft Guns - Auckland (shipped)ASGC - Used to be the only place you could buy guns from for a while. I've used them a lot for parts in the past but now that reapertech is around.... nope.
TheArmoury - Never used; seem to be overpriced. Don't actually know what they sell these days.
Airsoft Upgrade Parts NZ - Free ShippingReapertech.co.nz Really good range of upgrade parts which are all free shipping and well priced. Use them all the time for fixups.
Airsoft Guns and Upgrade Parts - Overseashttp://www.redwolfairsoft.com/ - really fast shipping speed and quick to process orders
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ - large array of stock but it's hit and miss what's actually in stock at any time
http://wgcshop.com/ - really good stock of parts - slow to ship - has a good variety of all the stuff I usually buy - my favorite
http://echigoya-guns.com/ - if you want Tokyo Marui and don't want to pay double - get a permit and buy it from here - my favorite for buying guns
http://www.dentrinityshop.com/index_ne.jsp - If you saw some weird ass antique airsoft gun on the internet and can't find where to buy it; it's probably on this website. That's because the search engine is so bad no one else could find it and buy it. A good last resort for things you can't find anywhere else.
http://www.evike.com/ - I'm only listing this here to tell you not to buy anything from here. Most of the guns are re-branded chinese crap. It's all shipped from the USA so costs an arm and a leg too.
I highly recommend the
Tokyo Marui Next Gen series to anyone but it's not sold in NZ and you need to get a permit to import any guns. Failing that, ICS and G&G make pretty decent stuff for beginners. LCT make the best AKs. Stay away form SRC Aegs they are a nightmare to fix.
Hope this helps
