When I got my first AEG it had an electrical fault. We figured out what was wrong with it by getting an ammeter and checking the flow between contact points, like the motor, trigger contacts and the contacts on the selector plate.

If you can't get an ammeter, then you might just have to take the gearbox apart and manually push individual parts together untill you get a result.

Just be very cautious fellas, alot of people are running lipo batteries and shorting one of them is the last thing you wanna do (could be the last thing you ever do) . I've managed to short one and I sure as hell learnt my lesson!

That would be awesome, I don't really want to take apart my gun and find that I have no idea how to put it back together.

you can borrow my multimeter on a sunday if you come out

Thanks, but I won't be able to make it out this weekend.

I'm IN, but currently have no way out.

Is anyone near Riccarton able to help out?

I don't think we can get the MAG facility on short notice. We have to sort it out with MAG first, and on top of that I believe there are others (non-airsofters) that use the facility that would need to be forewarned.

And besides, no CQB till I get my hands on a scope for my P90.
