Operation Peacekeeper - Sunday 22nd February 2009

Image

OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW:

A small country previously aligned with the soviet block has erupted in civil conflict with the ruling body being overthrown by the joint efforts of two large rebel groups the Cossacks and the Smirnoffs.

These two groups, unable to agree on terms to join together and elect a joint leader have withdrawn to opposite ends of their area of common operations and are about to engage in a battle to gain ultimate control of the country.

The United Nations has been requested by neighbouring country’s to send a force to prevent this engagement, bring stability to the region, and help establish a new democratically elected government.

The United Nations has yet to decide if it will intercede in the situation.

This area is considered to be a code black area with a violence prospect level of alpha one.

The United Nations has no intelligence gathering on the ground. As such there is not any
information available about the size, composition, or capabilities of either of these rebel groups.

It is also unknown if Russia has been asked to intercede or if it intends to involve itself.

I have also played in the rain with Electric SEG's.

But you do risk shorting out the wiring if very unlucky or just blowing the fuse.
(Other people have had problems in the Airsoft Community with this.)

Also its a very good idea to strip your weapons down to clean and dry them properly and also lubing them well.
