Back Story
Croatia Brief
Today a cowardly attack was made on our beloved General Ante Gotovina
Whilst he was attended a state function at the DONJI MIHOLJAC Castle
He has been kidnapped by a small group of rebel lead spies working in conjunction with the fascist united nation.
The Generals personal guard were able to stop and kill many of their number before a missile stuck their defensive position killing all of their number.
The General was then captured by over whelming numbers and taken away by the rebels in vehicles heading towards the Hungarian boarder
An attack helicopter was dispatched to intercept the convoy before it reached the boarder.
It intercepted the convoy 2 kilometers from the boarder and engaged the vehicles with air to ground missiles, destroying the 3 support vehicles and disabling the vehicle containing the general.
However due to the terrain no air support can make ground contact with the site.
This is where the great army of Croatia needs your help!
A small team of special forces have been assigned to go to the accident immediately and retrieve the general or his body and return it to the home land!
He must not full into the hands of the U.N dogs!

Everything starts with a good beginning
So what was done was create a back story that will work with the people or teams you have at your disposal
We had limited players for the weekend but as long as you have 9 or more the scenario is plausible
A good way to ensure that players will attend is to post your back story a good week or more before the event! Another good trick is to assign members early to their teams this gives the game momentum and ensures a good turn out.
Plus this gets them thinking about game tactics and working together in their given teams.
This simple forward thinking can be behind a team

Intel update from Spartan consulting group
Early this morning an attempt was made to secure General Ante Gotovina of the Croatian Army
From the grounds of DONJI MIHOLJAC Castle
within the small town of Donji Miholiac 10 kilometers from the Hungarian boarder 20 km north of Osijek
The General was scheduled to have a meeting with various heads of state.
With the goal being to gain support within certain elements of the Croatian parliament to back him for a military take over of the country and removal of the current parliament
General Gotovina is well known as a bully within the Croatian armed forces and has been reported as being behind the disappearance of many heads of state and senior officials.
Thou the united nations can not be seen it intervene in his plans for a take over they can nether allow such an event to occur.
As such an underground rebel group has been used to infiltrate the castle and remove the general and smuggle him over the boarder to hungry where he will be tried for war crimes.
Unfortunately the rebel group was only half successful and although they did manage to lift the general their convoy was attacked 1 kilometer from the boarder.
Satellite imaging shows there was no survivors other than the general himself and he has been trapped within the wreckage of a vehicle
Thermal shows him to still be alive, but we must act quickly.
The area he is within is unattainable by air and will require access from the group by a small unit with support of an engineer with rescue tools to free the general and escort him over the boarder to hungry to be handed over to the United Nations war crimes unit.
The united nations itself can not be involved itself in any activity over the boarder in Croatia, so the jobs been outsourced to us to go in and get him.

Now the questions and PM's regarding game play come rolling in so be ready to post the general game rules and maps for all to see

Game rules for all teams
The below map shows the game area in which the game is to be played in red any other area outside of this is considered OUT of bounds and should only be entered into in an emergency or to clear fogged goggles safely.
Using these areas to gain ground on an opponent is cheating and you team will loose if found doing so!
Each team is to start the game at there start points (indicated on the team brief posting) at 10am sharp! If any of your team members are not ready the game will start at that time regardless.
Once the game has commenced each team is required to carry out their mission in order to win the game.
Normal game rules apply in regards to being hit and hit rules (bang etc) however when you are hit you must retire to your nearest dead/ respawn area is indicated in the map below. I must no retire in such a direction as to gain ground and or advantage on your opponent

Satellite thermal imaging shows the position of the general to be at the bottom left hand corner of the map
Above is an outline of your objective and routes to be taken however you may travel in any direction within the two blocks of the Croatian territory as you see fit to archive your mission.
Should you be engaged by Croatian armed forces you are use deadly force to stop them and block them from crossing the boarder if possible so as to stop the possibility an international incident occurring.
Mission outline
1 At 10am begin your infiltration towards the board remain covert at all times.
2 At waypoint 2 insert into enemy territory remain covert!
