good call guys. I suspect the buildings have taken some damage. I for one would love to play, but with the size and number of aftershocks I think planning games inside is both irresponsible and possibly dangerous

Hi guys we had the structural engineers through early on in the piece after the big one and they give it the all clear.
Yes we have broken windows and have not cleaned them up as yet as this seems risky and somewhat a waste of time until nearer the end of the week.
In the current climate yours and our safety is paramount and no one will be allowed on site unless it is safe!
We will keep you all updated as the what is happening in regards to the use of the TTC
However as we are in an unpredictable climate no decisions will be made until the day before and even then a after quake may change things moments before.
The best thing is to keep checking here as to what happening
We have guys coming up from DAC and a indoor game is a guarantee regardless of weather hence I'm guessing why the call has been made.

How about you treat your intentions to play as a "all going well I could and would like to play" at least that gives the organizers an idea of numbers.

Hi brothers.
Well ive just spoken with my wife who works for the Waitaki District Concil and also Civil Deffence when needed. She has informed me that after this mornings shocks in CHCH that the CD base there was evec'd as that building was no longer safe, the tunnel between chch city and i think picton or akarowa has been closed as well. Please dont take this as gospil as there are alot of stories floating about but heres my view.

As organiser of this trip and also team CO I'm not prepared to tae the responsability of the teams care and safty with the trip to CHCH. There for I'm "BINNING IT". If any of you still wish to go you do so at your own risk. Sorry Brothers but its to fucked up for me to go.
