Game Sunday 10th July 2011
Gate open from 0845 to 0900 at the MAG TTC. The gate will be locked at 0900 sharp, if you are late you will miss out.
Cost is $10 per player payable before play starts.
Reminder that TAG's CQB specific rules are as follows
- FPS: 1.14j (equates to 350 fps with a 0.2gm bb) maximum. If you have any doubt that you gun is over that limit best get it chrono'd before the day. There will be no leeway on the fps rule, if you gun is over it will not be allowed on field.
- Facial protection: Good quality protective eyewear and some form of teeth protection is mandatory. Teeth protection can be a mouthguard, facemask or shemagh.

The games will be a ROLE PLAY based MILSIM. You will each be assigned a personality type drawn at random out of a hat. There will be 1-2 CT teams based on numbers. Please indicate if you want to be on Rainbow or terrorist team.
Rainbow can use any weapons they like.
Terrorists should use any weapon EXCEPT an M16/M4 or variant. This includes such items as LR300's, HK416s and Magpul based weapons.
Background
The year is 2011. In the minds of millions, the conflicts of the 20th century have been forgotten. Relegated to the history books or dusty archives. They are subjects for movies. Stories told by aging grandfathers that seems less and less relevant in the brave new world of global terrorism and vicious international conflict.
But not everything that is buried is dead. Old hatreds still linger. Old mysteries remain unsolved. And old enemies yet rise again, re-energized and prepared to pick up the tools of modern terror to carry on their ancient battles.
In oil rich Venezuela, talks are being held that could bring closer relations between the this small nation and the USA. The outcome of these talks will mean a USA that is less reliant on oil reserves in the middle east and could bring vats wealth to Venezuela.

If time permits we may mix the team up and play other games. There is no firm plan. Basically the leader of Rainbow (called Six) is to make the assault plan and execute as they see fit. The terrorists have free reign. Hostages can be executed or used as human shields. Points will be added for dead tangos and subtracted for dead hostages. Any evidence gathered at the scene will also garnish bonus points.
SPECIAL RULES
THIS IS AN ELIMINATION TYPE GAME. There are NO respawns. Once you are dead, you are out of the game until the next round.
There will be an ammo limit of 5 magazines per person, no more.
Tangos not dead or incapacitated in some way can use whatever means they see fit to re-enter the game (for example if someone escapes their captors).
You are expected to play the role you have been given. For example, one of the Tango roles is Martyr, which means they will take down as many people as they can including themselves if provoked or forced into capture. This includes killing any hostages they may be guarding and possibly even detonation of any explosives they may be in charge of.
