Christchurch, needing change of scene & chrono

Hi All,

I've been in chch for a couple of years now (from UK) where I used to only play CQB sites. Up until recently I was completely unaware of TAG, but looking over the forums here, I'm keen to swap from my current site to yours. I'm not sure that the advice I have been given on what FPS my weapons are currently operating at is correct and don't own my own chrono, so if anyone can advise the best course of action for me that'd be greatly appreciated. In addition to this, do TAG Christchurch have their own armourer?

Hey Merlin

TAG has a power limit of 1.14j. This equates to 350fps (or 106.4mps) on .2g BBs. What do you think your gun should be shooting at now?

If you're keen to come out for a game, we play every Sunday and if your gun is too powerful, we have hire gear available (G36, ammo and eyepro) for $20.

I don't think TAG has any official armour at the moment. Any work that needs to be done on guns is generally done by members themselves or can be done by someone more experienced if you ask nicely.

Thanks for your reply Sneakers. Both my guns should be no more than 350fps. However, I'm a little dubious as I have been playing at ACG and although their site limit is the same (350fps) chronoing doesn't seem to happen there and I know for a fact a number of members weapons are over that limit! I live a good hours drive from your fields so would rather ensure I'm within the rules before heading out that far.

I'll see if I can find someone with a chrono and get them tested.
