trigger seizure

ok so finally got my aeg, batt and everything. I take a few shots and next thing the trigger seizes (locks) up and is unabled to be fully pulled back. Been through so many sites that all say 'fire in full auto'...which is obviously not an option for us. I got it to work by doing this http://www.armory.co.nz/page/unjamming% ... 20gun.aspx but even still, the gun jams after 2-3 shots every time. Anyone have any ideas? Would like to get it fixed by Sunday's game :(

Re: trigger seizure

Make sure you're doing full trigger pulls...

Other than that, I'm not sure what it could be without checking it out.

Re: trigger seizure

doing full trigger pulls, but the whole thing sounds weird....don't really know how to explain it. If a properly working aeg sounds like 'WHIP' then my gun sounds like 'WHiiifuu' or just kinda long and lazy. I probably put something in wrong when I took apart the gearbox to put in the bevel gear and new springs. Probably never should have done it myself in hindsight hahaha.

Re: trigger seizure

Take it apart and do it again.

You've probably borked up your shims. Adjust your motor height and if it still whines, take the shims off the top of the bevel gear and put them underneath so it sits higher off the motor piston. Don't do this all at once, do it progressively until your gun sounds good again.

Also make sure when you do it your gears spin freely and nicely when the mechbox is closed without the spring, but don't rattle around up and down too much.

Yes this is going to take forever.
Have fun tomorrow.

Re: trigger seizure

Anyone have a chrono I could borrow for a few days later on this week? I want to try snip some springs to lower the FPS while I get some M95s shipped. Would probably have to snip the M95s too if mine is shooting 390FPS with M100s in it.
