Re: My First AEG

In my opinion G&P guns are ok. They often have feeding issues with certain brands of magazines (as they all do) so it would be best to hold off on magazines until you've tried out a few different types from other people. Also we have a limit on magazines limiting them to 100 rounds max.

If I bought that gun I would probably replace the hop unit with a prometheus or a madbull pretty soon.

Batteries made by airsoft companies aren't as good as batteries made by battery companies. Alroys from TAG sells them as part of his busniess and can hook you up with almost anything. I've had three G&P batteries and only 1 of them works now lol.

Good post by Flazz. I'd agree that G&P guns are OK, nice exterior quality and they shoot decent out of the box.

To be honest though, if you're happy spending $300+ USD on an AEG I'd highly consider looking at Tokyo Marui. Similar price but will need less upgrades overall. This is the brand most of TAG uses.

Melton, I'm selling a MK18 mod 1. It doesn't have the holo sight, battery or mags but it runs well and has most of the upgrades you would have put in. Flazz worked on it last week and he can give you a professional assessment.
