Also,

I would like to run a brand new game that I have imagined up. It will take 2 approximately hours.

The thing is though that I need AT LEAST 2 people to have either a GPS, or a smartphone with an app that allows the user to navigate to coordinates.

For example if I gave you this reference; S 43° 29.816 E 172° 22.790
I would need you to be able to navigate to it and then search in a 10m radius of that point.

I know of at least 2 free apps that have this functionality but you may have other preferred tools that you are used to using, although the coordinates that I give out will ONLY be in the format of the above example.

I only need 2 people to be able to do this not everyone, so if you're confident that you can do it then post up! Navigation will only be a part of the game, there will be problem solving, hunting, bomb defusal and of course combat and all the tactics that come with it.

It should prove to be very different!

That sounds cool Falcon. I'm out for roughly 4 weeks due to going to Japan. Maybe I can infiltrate Marui HQ and steal a TM M4 MWS.

Dude, that sounds fantastic! I'm more than happy to run GPS on my phone, the telling moment will be if there's enough reception for it to work reliably on cell, or if it'll need a dedicated GPS. I know Acey has one...

We have maps which can give grid coordinates. The area is likely to be a bit bigger than 10m, but it could be a low tech alternative.

Last night I downloaded an app called HERE on iOS. Made by Nokia who are renowned for their free Windows Phone offline maps. Those coordinates worked perfectly.
