Re: Gear pic/link thread.

I didn't realize it right away but the Tokyo Marui M40A5 is out already.

It looks like you might even be able to use VSR-10 Zero Triggers on it too! Probs not though.

ReaperTech just got in these replacement magazine springs in. They look so be the same style as the stock Marui ones so might be be a good option if your springs are weak.

Re: Gear pic/link thread.

I'm after some Crye G3 cut Woodland pants - Does anyone know what brands to avoid/go for when it comes to repro CP styles?
I'm looking at Emersons at the mo but my only concern is what looks to be a lack of stretch panels as you can see illustrated here - And I'd rather not bust out my ass or crotch, or knees for that matter while playing.

I also heard that FlashForce does a pretty good set of CP style pants but I can only seem to find them stocked anywhere as XL or L and I'm a Medium

Any suggestions would be really appreciated. :D

Re: Gear pic/link thread.

Hey man.

I'll definitely recommend FFI (Flash Force Industries). About 80% of our core members run the their M81 G3 combat sets, some of which would be 3+ years old with only minor repairs needed (as expected).

The best place to get them from is J.K. Army, however they only do a new run once a year so you might have to wait for their next run.

Would avoid Emerson, I've really never seen any of their gear that looks like it's worth buying. I've also heard good things about Semapo Gear, though never seen/used any myself.

Cheers for the adv mate! Agreed on the Emerson side of things - most of their stuff looks like it would pass as a repro of a repro but not much more. And I'll keep an eye on when FFI is due to release more!

For the discerning 416 owning.

HAO G style SMR handguard

Replica of the Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail (SMR) HK. Compatible with Marui (TMC), WE, VFC, etc. These are excellent. The workmanship far exceeded my expectations. Included are some rail segments for mounting RIS accessories, otherwise it will accept M-LOK attachments.

Re: Gear pic/link thread.

I noticed the FFI M81 2017 line is out now, with all the sizes still in stock, probably going to be gone in a flash like usual.
