Need my first gun

Hey guys i was looking to purchase my first airsoft gun in nz (Not out of the country) for under 250 does anyone have any recomendations or links?

To start off by being pretty straightforward, unfortunately you're not going to find anything worth buying in NZ for your price range.

The cheapest starter gun that's actually pretty reliable out of the box is going to be the G&G Raider series. These start at around $330 from ASGC.

You can get some good deals on airsoft-trader. But they're second hand so you never quite know what you're gonna get.

Yeah that's a good point, though I wouldn't recommend buying second hand when you're starting out. There's a reasonable high chance you'll end up with a lemon.
