Scenario: OPERATION IRON CURTAIN wrote:Karelia, June 23, 1985. KGB security forces are in hot pursuit of a group of unidentified Western operatives, suspected to be CIA, deep in the forests of Karelia. The operatives are highly trained and heavily armed, carrying blueprints for a top-secret hypersonic air-launched ballistic missile. These plans are of critical importance and must be recovered at all costs.
Team 1: CIA• The CIA team starts split along the red tape.
• Each member of the CIA is carrying a 'token' to represent the plans for the missile.
• The CIA must work together to reach the village and hold out for extraction. Extraction will take place approximately 40 minutes after the scenario begins.
• The
exact extraction point will be given to the CIA. It will be nearby to the village. It will not be made known to the KGB.
• Tokens cannot be moved around players. Once taken by the KGB, they cannot be recovered.
• CIA Objective: To achieve victory, at least one live CIA member must be at the extraction point with their token as the scenario ends.
Team 2: KGBKGB team starts in the briefing area, behind the CIA.
Pursue the CIA. Once they are hit, approach the 'wounded' player, place two hands on them and count aloud to ten. After that they will hand over their 'token'.
This must be repeated on all members of the CIA.
KGB Objective: To achieve mission success all tokens must be recovered.
