ASNZ 2008 Nats

ok guys... lets put a team together and start training.

Pacific blue can get you to Welly for $59 each way.. so there is NO excuse to not be booking now

I'll see about transportation to HB region with WAC.. otherwise we can rent a car for as little as $30 a day for a compact

i just confirmed if you get in quick you can get to welly for $59 and back for $79.. else the regular fair is $99 each way

Don't worry about the firearms, they see people travel everyday with weapons.

Check in as per normal.
Say you have a firearm to check-in and they will take you to special luggaeg area.
Ensure your firearm is able to be well packed at the airport (they may wish to inspect it). A hard fifle case is perfect.
Explain it's a bb gun and all should be sweet.

I've done this several times - never an issue when check in. :D

I am flying on these dates: If folk want to tag along we can jimmy airport pick ups & drop offs etc.

NZ8478 chch/nap leave 12:10pm 6-2-08
NZ8471 nap/chch leave 1pm 10-2-08

I am still waiting to hear form stickman if he is taking the camper van up in which case I will stay with him, or I may need a motel & car... seing how it unfolds, will update.

Okies, NAC are staying at some cabins, & have invited us to stay with them, I am going to, so if anyone else wants in on this you will need to PM Dirker on ASNZ. Should be a party :)

This is what NAC are doing I am shacked up with them, they are more than happy for us to hook up with them, they are doing the family cabin thing, where there are some shared facitlities & the likes. Thought if we hired a previa or somthing big (to fit aceys guns in) we could get by with one car, we will let Stu drive as Acey gets nervous when I am on the same piece of tarmat as him.

We must sound out with Allan & the lads too as they mentiond they where interested in Nats from the TAG brochure. So will do that this Sunday.

Sweet I'm really keen. The accommodation and airfares sound great.
