fitting issues... question.

hi!

i was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on a fitting issue to do with silencers and extended inner barrels.

this is for a marui hi-capa 4.3

http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_list.j ... g=2&rpp=10

if i use the "PDI 6.05mm Inner Barrel With Silencer Attachment For Marui Hi Capa 5.1 Government (7 Inch Set)"

will that mean the adapter will slide over the inner barrel and fit to the gun, leaving about 90mm of inner barrel sticking out which can be covered by a silencer?

i can't seem to find the answer to this question anywhere...

thanks in advance

you can... many do this with SEGs.. HOWEVER

when you fit a silencer to a GBB you CAN affect it's gas usage and slide recoil depending in the type of chamber it's using. Personally i wouldn't bother with an extended inner barrel. I don't believe accuracy of a GBB is affected too much by barrel length as much as recoil moving your hand slightly (like on a real pistol).

I have a glock 34 (the longest glock) which has a long inner barrel and it's still innacurate. I'd hazard a guess it's because if the metal slide having a lot of innertia in the recoil phase causing my hand to move out of aim.... not to mention my complete lack of front sight!

ahhhh gotcha didn't notice that before, but it would have to pull the silencer back slightly during the blowback process as well, thanks for pointing that out. I thought a longer barrel also improves FPS and therefore range? (going from a 90mm~ barrel to a 177mm~ one) also i see how you say that accuracy is affected because of the blowback but doesn't the BB exit a quick fraction before the blowback mech starts?

i've been reading around and i keep finding people that experience both sides of the argument.

i've been trying to decide between a stock length tightbore, a TK twist barrel, or an extended tightbore...

i PM'd mouse too, he recommended a stock length barrel if anything, im not sure.... i just didn't want to order parts and them not fitting...

i kinda want to try the extended barrel though, something different 8)

btw, lang told me orders are up... when do you have to place them by?
