SEG Technical terms

Hey Guys

Just wanting to get some definitions on some airsoft terms I have seen. Where in the gun are these parts and what is their purpose etc.

What is Reshimming? (Something to do with the gearbox and and important task to do?)

What is the switching set?

What is the bearing spring guide?

What is the piston head?

What is the cylinder set?

What is metal bushings?

I know its alot of terms but any help would be great

Thanks

Have a read over this site as a starting point, if it doesn't answer all of your questions post them up.

Thanks for the link Nem but the site appears to be new and alot of stuff isn't on the site. No explanations just references to reshimming etc.

Arnies has got a number of articles that explain it. Thanks
Mechbox.com does appear to have some videos on disassembly and upgrade so that site is not too bad as well.
