Gearing.

Hey everyone, I think now that I hope to come out more frequently I should invest in some proper gear. I have been talking to Rogue about it as I think it's about time I move away from my bare-legs, short days.

Main questions I have are, whats good eye protection? Once again, kinda wanna keep pricing low, but make it comfortable. Also, worth getting a vest? Or would it be better once I have a primary.

Any comments welcomed, please post some links! :)

Cheers,
Omega.

to start out just get a belt and some pouches from Kiwi's in town, say 2 -3 pouches and a water bottle and you're set. Then later on down the track when you have a gun and some BDU's get a vest
As far as BD's go, get what YOU like

Dont listen to slayer, get woodland marpat :P Nah, get what you like. As for eyes, i prefer a full face paintball style mask, the amount of times i've been shot in the face, makes me feel even better about wearing that than goggles, but if you're tough, just get some shooting glasses ;)

I have a set of Bolle X500's, but the X800's are nicer. I'd go with them. No body really has any rail rifles anymore so you should be safe.

As for kit.. anything goes. I have a nice vest but have used a belt i got from Kiwi DIsposals for a year now with 2 brit double mag pouches... was more than enough for me!

As Acey has said, The cheapest way is to go with a belt and two mag pouches.
Safety glasses are the cheapest way to go too. We tend not to shoot people in the head in our club, But sometimes it may happen by mistake or by the person moving while the BB's are in the air on their way to you.
