MP5 vs. M14

Hey guys, just doing a quick little poll on what you would choose out of the M14 or the MP5.

Any comments welcome!

Cheers,

that's like asking about chalk and cheese :) get both :) i think Nem has one he still hasn't sold

Depends what kinda game we're playing. Something a little more open on the roads could do with an M14 and the extra accuracy it brings. Close in an MP5 is a little better because it's more compact. You could also consider other smaller guns like a UMP or G36C, or if you have a little more money to spend something like a G36K or HK416D10. Rogue would say buy an M4, but he has M4 on the brain. He's even trying to turn a G36C into an M4

Also, G&G have been exceptionally variable in quality.

i would have both ! very happy with my g&g gun that i have at the moment . but i have only had it for about half a year its a type of g3 . on g&g 's web site its called fs51 folding stock . its not too long for when you are in thick gorse .and with the stock fliped open it's a good length . my 2 cents worth are buy the gun that you like the the look of the most as more will come and dont buy crap quality!!!

Look at king arms guns. I have heard they are a good brand to buy. Don't buy a cheap chinese clone. I bought a galaxy g5m and it cost me more to fix it than just buying a better gun to begin with. Save a little extra and get a good brand gun. you will save more money in the long term.

In the end it comes down to what you like the best.

But if i was to go for a SEG when i started out it would have to be something TM made, Classic army or King Arms.

I've always liked guns like the MP5 and AK's
