An idea need input post up

Well after Sundays wet fest I managed to pull my g&g to bits dry it and put it back together with no peices left over.
I had been trying to research how to fix an issue with my we m14ebr where the bolt catch wasn"t engaging once the mag emptyed.
After having no luck online I pulled it to bits and managed to fix it with dear I say,a file ,hammer and chizel.....yeap a hammer.
While having it in bits I realised how little I knew about this gun,where to spray lube,what parts are prone to wear etc......
Anyways as I was getting my head around this gun I got to thinking ,how would one night every month or two we have a combined gun maintenance night at a given location.I think it would be fun to learn more on the best way to dismantle ,and maintain your gun while learning more about your airsoft rifle,Im hoping if you guys like the idea some gun tech vets would actually teach us gun noobs by recommending parts upgrades etc,this would help myself and people new as to how to keep your gun in top condition.
Also its a good excuse to get out of the house.
We could run it as a social club ie,$5 a head and food and drinks would be provided etc

Anyway as I said in subject its just an idea would love some feedback either yay or gay

That's a good idea Tanifa i don't see any reason not to and i think the club has done something like this before. It will be great for the new players out to, to learn about there guns.

I think its a very good idea, me and my gf would be showing up to all sessions, as there is alot that we can learn for everyone

If people are still interested in this I'm keen to get the people together and do a maintainence night. We have had a lot of new members in the last couple of years.

I could go over how to take apart and put back together gearboxes without losing/breaking stuff and explain how everything works. Eda and Alroys could go over pistol maintainence and soldering too.
