The problem you might find is that several TAG members and many ASNZ members have PRS radios, thus while having your 'own' channel sounds good, it will limit your connectivity with other players in the bigger games.

Also, command & control channels for ASNZ shoots are also PRS.

Perhaps he can program some PRS channels into the system?

Just my 2c worth.

I believe that these radios do the standard channels plus the extra ones.

Have asked around, Bane on the ASNZ forums has one, he rates it very highly. Battery life is good, signal is nice and clear.

The channels are programmed by "The Jackel", if you want the standard ones it's no problem.

Sounds like a plan for those with no radios yet.

I've already got 5W PRS and .5W PRS's so I'm sorted.

Those of you who want to rack up more kills by fighting as a co-ordinated team then radios are a big help.

Recommend headset + remote PTX (push to talk).
Experience with other units throat mics are a tad unreliable (work when they shouldn't, don't work when the should etc). Also VOX (voice operated transmitt) are a no go - the sound of the mech box shooting is often enough to trigger a Tx. Only takes one person to Tx at the wrong time to stuff the comms up.

Happy shopping.
