well, undoubtedly, the non blowbacks have a much higher gas efficiency than the blowbacks, no gas is being wasted on pulling the slide back to rechamber a round, if what i've read is correct (from several sources), you get roughly three times as many shots per charge of gas in a non blowback, but the drop in power is very gradual and by the end of it, the last few rounds will fire like a 20 dollar springer, not a big problem though if you ask me. the trigger pull will also be a lot heavier on a non blowback. also, generally the fps of non blowbacks are higher, cause all of the gas is focused on sending the bb out, instead of recocking it. the feeling of a blowback pistol is brilliant, but for those who prefer a more function over form gun, the non blowback is probably the more efficient way to go. but not every decision made in airsoft is based on efficiency, now is it?

Well, I had a go with some guns today, a Mk23 of ZeroAlphaOnes, a Deagle from Scorp, a SIG p226 from ScruWD and a few other weapons (I only listed sidearms - running with topic here).
Was surprised with the size of the Mk23, it's literally massive along with the Deagle, but the Sig was amazing. This was the chrome version which is nice but the gun shot nice and straight, looks nice up close, feels good and is really nice to use.
So I will be thinking a heap now about a Sig as I am very impressed with the gun, I can't see a better option!
Cheers for all the support,
Omega.
