i have a G36c, a weapon designed for close combat, but i can still use it for a "sniper" role as such if i chose to. Now that all guns are semi, personally i think a person with a sniper is a bit disadvantaged, since an SEG will have slightly less range but a whole lot more fire power! but thats just the spammer in me talking.

Sniping in our fields is not an easy skill, in fact I played for over 20 years before I took up a rifle, to use one effectively & saftly takes a lot of skill.

If you are looking at blowing $220 USD then I would certainly recomend you hold & get an electric gun that has been semied. It certainly suits the terrain better.

Get a few more Pistols mags, Ive emailed you on this. Pistols can hold their own against anythign on the field with a few spare mags & we can show you guns next time you are out, plus costings etc.

You should be able to set yourself up in this sprt with a good gun, camo, plus supplies for under $500.

lol u just spam charles.

And i agree with Adler. I made an error when i first started and bought a rifle. It was great fun and all but after a while u need something with the semi auto capabilty.

Personally if i could do it over again i would have either

A: Got more pistol mags and caused some chaos with that.

B: Saved up a little more and pick up a nice semi'd electric and a couple of mags.

Once you have the game styles down and stuff like that then I'd look at getting a sniper rifle. (which im doing at the moment hehe)

Hope this helps :)

As you can see, Most of us recommend you buy a SEG.
Most of us have more than one SEG.......becouse we like them sooooo much.

I think you would like that more.
And later on you could always buy a Sniper Rifle as an extra weapon.
