Cleaning Sig 226

Hi guys, Just looking at running a patch through the Sig with the cleaning rod, is there any cloth to use in particular?

so long as it's clean [not denim like] then any bit of rag should be fine

ALWAYS ensure your hop is OFF when ever you clean the barrel.

I've found paper towels to be best. Lightly coat with silicone sprey and bake for 2 hours

when you say bake, do you mean leave it to dry, or literally bake it in a warm/hot place? i don't mean it in a sarcastic way in case it sounds that way lol

thats ok bake was a joke... as it sounded like a recipe

Just coat with oil then put in your cleaning rid and slowly twist it through your barrel until it comes out the other end
