i spend hours at a time checking out airsoft on trademe LOL and i finally decided to take a gamble and order a galaxy mp7 off trademe...

we agreed on a price of $280 including shipping which is way more that what you would pay for on uncompany or any other airsoft site....

but this was how i looked at the deal

galaxy mp7a1 70 usd
semi conversion 30-50 usd
shipping 60 usd

=almost 290 nzd anyway

the problem you get with wanting an mp7 is that noone will semi it

i dunno who his supplier is but i'd like to find out :P

anyways it came in the mail today and i think it was worth the buy

shoots alright and the finish is not so bad

so if you're bloody desperate for an mp7 (like me) look up tagetshooter

OK MP7s ARE AWESOME THEY NEVER JAM :P i can lend it to my paint ball mate for a day and not worry :P

I have watched with interest a couple of his trades and have found him to be pretty legit...but still - i don't trust trademe sellers on expensive purchases.
Especially airsoft or paintball guns

I hope you do not have any problems with the Galaxy Mp7. Manley's galaxy was a horror story

i have a Galaxy MP5K and it's sweet. However, bar a new motor, Manley did none of the things i suggested. Hence why he had so much trouble.

The Galaxy MP5Ks are upgraded from the factory far past their ability to actually work well. The springs are just way to strong for the size of battery you can get into the gun, and the motor too weak to pull it

i was actually considering the option of buying a galaxy mp5k and using an m90 in it for a cqb gun, i figure it would run a lot smoother with a weaker spring in it, i've read reviews on it online, none of which had that many problems that manley had with his, i figured it was probably a lemon, cause it was having far more problems than any gun should have

No the gun comes stock around 360FPS, that's about M110. Way too much for a crappy chinese stick battery and weakish motor. I downgraded mine to about 310FPS.

Be careful with springs.. in V3 mechs they tend to give you slightly higher FPS than rated. Maybe an M80 would be a safer bet
