Hi my names Bradie and i have heard about airsoft from my mate in the states but i dont know if its different here than it is there so here are some questions.

1: How old do you have to be to play? (i'm 16)
2: How much does it cost to hire all the equipment needed?
3: If i do decide to join does anyone know where to get a good deal on guns and equipment?
4: Am i able to get a ride out there or do i have to make my own way?

Here's some answers to your questions,

TAG has hire weapons (JG G36 SEG's) safety glasses or face masks which we hire out to prospective new players so they can get the feel of our sport before they invest in buying weapons and other equipment.
The Hire cost is $20 for the day, BB's and one hi cap magazine is included.

New members get 4 free game's (No Field Fee) before you have to pay casual player field fee's or you apply to join our club as a member.

If you decide to by a Airsoft Weapon, Being 16 years old you will need someone either 16years old with a firearms licence or someone who is 18 years old to legally transport your weapon. (NZ Law)
But that shouldn't be too much a problem due to you might require a ride out to the game or maybe a parent could take you.
Depending on what area you live in someone might be able to pick you up.

Weapon purchase - Most Airsoft Clubs have a Club Armourer who can assist in the purchase of a Airsoft Weapon for you But your parent will need to be involved.

Hy Dexta Welcome to TAG always great to see new people come out and give airsoft a go ZA1 has done a great job answering your questions Our club plays every Sunday as long as the weather is not real crappy. It's a great idea to come out and have a game and hire a club gun and get a feel for the game first If you like the game we will be able to advise you on various options on how to buy and whats the best on a weapon and other gear. If you have any other questions post up and we will endeavor to answer them or someone in the club will .

As the other guys have posted and told you, we do have hire airsoft guns for $20 a day. Its a great way to see if you like the sport or not.
