Membership and armorer quote.

Hey guys.

I'm an avid air soft fan and I'm currently looking at buying an AEG and joining a club. My friend is a member of this club but he hasn't been in for any games in a while.

I want to buy either a TM M14 Socom or a G&G M14 Soc 16 and don't want to get bent over by customs, who do I speak to in order to get a quote? I am aware of the ballpark figures of these pieces.

I should be able to come along for some games in about 2 weeks when Uni has break.

Contact Rogue he is the TAG Armourer and he should be able to help you.

As in all importing there is risk, If the overseas retailer fails to semi the weapon properly you could loose your weapon when NZ Customs check it.

You could try The Armoury or ASGC if you are concerned about the risk of importing,

Re: Membership and armorer quote.

If you are after the G&G M-14 Soc 16, the armory has them in stock if you want one right now. If your after the TM speak to Rogue about getting a quote.

Just be aware that to go with the gun you will need a battery and some low cap magazines before you can use it at TAG. This would probably add another $100+ to the purchase price of the gun.

Yeah magazines will be a bitch O.o.

I have another friend who has his eyes set on the Hexagon PPSH. However the only mags for it are 110 round Drum mags.

Does this mean its a no go for use at TAG?

You can fill the mags part of the way to make them sub-100 rounds

Re: Membership and armorer quote.

Sorry, I didn't clarify this correctly.

You can pack out the spring part of the loading area so that the capacity is permanently reduced. I have done this on some mags in the past, both 130 round magazines, now they hold less than 70 rounds each.

Re: Membership and armorer quote.

Yep that has been done as I have put plastic round packing below the spring to down grade the capacity to 50 rounds it is a great option if money is tight. :D :D :D
