radios

i am looking at getting a radio. what i need to know what is the most common one in use?

you'll need one of these as they have the Freq range that is used in NZ. Any other Freq Range and you'll only be talking to yourself.

well i own a panasonic comes with 2 speakers piks up am and fm stations even has 5 cd changer and mp3 :lol: :lol: :lol:

lol and a touch of subject. Spawn and I had Unidan radios both are stuffed so stay away from them dude. :D :D :D :D :D

I ended going with the motorola talkabout. they are cheap I didn't want to spend big dollars. I also got the of them cool looking hand sets for it.

The Puxing/Kenwood/Emax radios are the current favourite for Airsofters, due to the large number of compatible parts and accessories for them...plus for less than $100 you have a radio capable of being used over 4km's. This is something you really need to consider if you are going to interclub or larger games, as there is a time when you will be gaming and need to radio through, only to find you're way out of range! On the old TAG field we had several times where we couldn't communicate without a middle man relaying it all for us...was a large bit painful, even if it was very...realistic :S

ok I'm not reposting that whole thing..... but he also has a web based shop.... i-guns.biz or something like that. Which is a little cheaper than his trademe prices

Generally those radios are $250 to your door (ish)

OR you can get them from ebay.com (Bubby knows who to get them from) for around $100 landed
