Broken trigger post

Okay, so after opening up the v2 gearbox from my G&G CMR16, I found it has a broken trigger post

So, I'm wondering if it would be easier to get a new gearbox shell or just a whole new gearbox?

As far as I know it's a version 2, 8mm 'box. I see there are videos on the net which show how to drill and insert a screw as a new trigger post, but I don't even have a drill, let alone a drill press

Either way, I'ma need some assistance in getting this gun working again.

Am happy to compensate an experienced tech for their time/effort.

Re: Broken trigger post

Oh lord. You can get a new gearbox shell, but if it decides it doesn't like your trigger contacts you might need a new set of them too. Then if they don't like your trigger, you'll need a new one of them as well. This happened to Reapernet lol. He bought a G&P gearbox shell which hated his SRC trigger contacts, which is weird because they should all be compatible.

What you can do is get a drill a 3mm hole and thread it with an m3 tap and just thread a 3mm screw in there.
Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilPIrIiOgaU

But if you decide to buy new stuff, I'd reccomend getting a new gearbox for simplicity, however you might need to get the gearbox semi'd though iIm not sure.
