Can't Decide On These Guns

Hi

Trying to figure out if this gun here has the ability to be upgraded to around 400+FPS:
Full Metal Gas Blow Back AK:
http://www.asgc.co.nz/product_info.php? ... ts_id=2110

Since that is $750 and full metal, i expected a higher FPS rate.

If this type of power isnt capable with tuning kits etc, I will be opting for something cheaper like this:
http://www.asgc.co.nz/product_info.php? ... ts_id=1286
$450 and about 375FPS rate

Would you guys recommend any other type of guns? I'm after a
• Gas BLow Black
• Full Metal
• Interested in Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles

Cheers.

Re: Can't Decide On These Guns

You do realize the club has a FPS restriction?
I'm pretty sure its 350fps for guns and 400FPS for bolt action snipers.(correct me if im wrong)
Also 350 is pretty good, not sure why you'd want to got above 400. Power doesn't necessarily mean range.
To answer your question. (Dont rely on my answer, as im still learning about bits and pieces)
Im sure if you threw in a 120 spring it would go up alot more in FPS.
Also remember when your looking for a gun, make sure its semi-auto (single shots) as full auto is illegal in New Zealand unless you have a special licence.
Once again, correct me if im wrong.
hope that helps.

Thanks Tech.

I'm not going to be using the gun a things like Cub Days. Only target shooting etc / collecting.

Yea I'm aware of the Full Auto ones being illegal.

Can someone please explain to me Muzzle Velocity:

Re: Can't Decide On These Guns

If it's for target shooting why do you need high fps? You know fps doesn't determine accuracy.

The muzzle velocity of that GBB M4 is 290-470FPS

Don't mean to rude but do you even intend to come out and play with us?

Their are other places to get the information you seek.

Perhaps you could start by using http://www.google.com to find a general, technical airsoft website. Or contact the retailer/manufacturer of your desired weapon.
