Anyone applied for permits lately?

Has anyone applied for permits lately and received them?

I applied for one in Feb.. followed up a few times and was told they are just behind and a month ago they were just getting to process applications from Jan..

I had a chat with Flazz and he heard they lost a lot of applications.

I was just curious is anyone has applied for one and had it approved lately

I applied april 1 ..still waiting.
there was a thread on airsoft q&a on FB asking the same thing and most are still waiting after 3 months, although Kane Cunningham from reaper-tech posted about a week ago that he had finally received his..

I sent mine in around the start of feb. emailed the arms officer and he said they were snowed under at that point. he said expected time to get it was 6-8 weeks but it was all ready later than than.
It was sent to me via snail mail as well. It took 2 months for them to ok it, and another 3 weeks for it to get from their office to me.
After that I got my gun payed for and into the country in 2 weeks.
Good luck man. They aren't fast by any means.
Also i would have thought the digital form was meant to speed things up. But it doesn't look like it has yet

Further to this I emailed the arms officer last night and got this reply today

I have record of your application having been sent to Police National HQ 18/4/2016 – file decisions are backlogged by 6-8+ weeks. I have made enquiry with HQ seeking confirmation on them having received the application due to issues that had at their end with computer systems etc.

So all we can do is wait realy..
