Haha, don't make me get a pic to show you the f-ugly looks that the SIG has, not to say its a bad pistol, I just personally don't like the way it looks.

I noticed the hop-up problem when cruising youtube - so I might have to take this into account :(

I see this all the time. When considering gas pistols people only look at the Marui stuff. Marui neither make the largest range nor the best pistols. Some of their earlier stuff is just plain shocking.

KJW make a nice full metal M9 which is a marui copy. It may also have an adjustable hop unit, but double check that one.

It got mouse running for cover and acey :D , it was awsome seing s.e.g guys ducking for cover or running away from it. and Lang had two of them and did an awsome job with two of them out in the fields.

LOL!

m92 / SIG wins the comfort award from me, deagles are big, heavy and ugly unless viewed in slow motion. Steyr MGB would be another one if your not worried about the blow back side of things.

MEU is pretty comfy too.

go to this site:

http://www.justpistols.co.uk

this is a fairly large database of reviews of only pistols, like with all internet articles, it shouldn't be taken as gospel, but it will be helpful if you're looking to buy a new pistol

Well this is great information guys, I really appreciate your help, and it seems like I am warming to the SIG after all.

Seems like it is a really good choice for a starting gun and it is very easy to use.

Acey, I realize there are many more models on the market but I was just going for something that was inside the country - to keep things simple at the start.

Thanks very much, if you have any more comments I would be very grateful for them.

More people should dual deagles like lang, then we'd have no need for camo either :D

no need for fps restrictions either, with all the gas cans strapped to him, you won't be able to hit him anyways :P

Seems like from what has been said here and also from various reviews, the SIG is a great gun to start and is very easy to use and very functional also.

I think I will probably go for it as it seems there is no large drawbacks with this pistol and I don't really mind the price. (It's not super expensive)

I think for a start it would be good to get some knowledge for further interest in the sport.

Thanks for all the help and comments, hope others find this useful also.

Cheers,
Omega.

I had one now blow back and few blow back now, except the "blow back" feeling, I feel no different, in fact Non blow back kinda more accurate. :D :D
