SEG 275FPS

Hi again, what sorta distance/accuracy would you get from a 275FPS TM G36C,

Also an upgrade to 400FPS, is this a good option.

Also what is the limit TAG has on FPS's?

As always, thanks for all your help?

Tag limit is 350fps for assault, so i'd aim for 345. Shouldn't need to respring it but probably wouldn't hurt to get it up a little more. At 350fps you're accurate to a human sized target at around 30m if i recall :P

Thanks for that, so basically anything over 350FPS and I can't use it with TAG?

So 275FPS would be OK for shooting i.e distance accuracy in TAG games??

At TAG we have a FPS limit of 350fps for anything semi-automatic and 500fps for single action weapons like bolt action sniper rifles etc.

As a new player there is also a probationary limit of 400fps until you are a senior member.

If you want some advice on how acturate a TM G36c is talk to Benny23 as he uses a stock one every weekend. And on the range and accuracy thing a good rule of thumb is to divide the FPS by 10 to give a ruff estimate of effective range. So a 350fps gun would give you a range of about 35 metres.

Hope this helps

yeah, 350 is the limit, its for safety reasons mainly, but no one likes a showoff when you're the only one doing 450fps either ;) I'd say play for a while with it stock, then if you want/need to, upgrade it.

When upgrading your weapons you have to think about the extra strain and pressure you are putting on the gearbox housing which sometimes cracks, also the extra pressure wears out stock internals quicker so its a good idea to upgrade the internals and also upgrade to a reinforced gearbox for a hassle free life.

Reminder - As stated SEG's have a FPS Limit of 350 FPS (No exceptions at TAG Events)
