apparently the silencer adds length the bb has to travel reducing its fps by a bit (so Im told anyway) Ive had a look for NPAS kits but most increase fps rather then lower it.

having a inner barrell extending into the silencer would make the above statement true. maybe thats what they meant. if a silencer did make a difference then it would be very minimal because of the larger diameter of the silencer as opposed to the diameter of the inner barrel, it would barely have any effect.

Adding a standard foam filled silencer should reduce your fps very slightly, but I think it's only because you're using the chrono further away from the gun.

I know WE do a NPAS kit but not sure about SRC, but ill let you know if it doesnt sell. I also didnt get round to chrono it on sunday so hopefully I can get it done this sunday, find out what its actually shooting out. I could be wrong.

Well it doesn't look like anybody makes much aftermarket parts for these at all. Would have to be custom kit all the way.
Also can you confirm if the catch on the mag is plastic?

It does say about 400 fps stock, it may be lower due to the bit of use its been through but I believe the mag catch is plastic (Although very sturdy) but i will have to get home to confirm that.
