It has to let go somewhere under that sort of force, you would have to snap the tappet plate to get the air nozzle out past the end of the cylinder nozzle. I am impressed in a way that the weakest point in the gearbox is the gears.
I have ordered a new set of 16:1 steel gears, 50 degree hop rubber and hi-torque motor. I will put the original hop back in and all will be sweet!
I will spin it up in the shed and put a thousand rounds of so through it this time before I use it
