MILSIM SUNDAY 7th March 2021

Join us on Sunday 7th March for our new MilSim Sunday series, kicking of with "Forward to the Present".

A new series of bi-monthly MilSim interclubs for CSG and TAG members only.
Every other month Tag and CSG will alternate hosting a MilSim event, created and run by 1 member from each club. This way we hope to bring our two clubs closer together socially, while having a bloody good time to boot!

Be aware this is different from our usual Sunday games. It will be a non-stop rolling game, and you therefore must carry everything you need for the entire day with you into the field. Make sure you bring plenty of water.
Team work and communication will be rewarded, so bring your radios if you have them, and your brilliant smiles.

More details will be announced in the lead up.

◘New to airsoft? $20 gets you a day membership. Includes club gun use, eye-pro and unlimited ammo! If you have your own gear, the first 4 games are free!
◘Reminder: Bio BBs are a requirement at our field. Post up if you need some, we sell BBs at various weights.
◘Hit Markers! These are a required/essential piece of kit! Please ensure you have yours this Sunday! (we have some for sale, $12 each)
◘TAG Airsoft players must be 16+ and have a parent or guardian sign our waiver if you are under 18.
◘Post up if you need a lift!

Be ready to play at 0900 - That means mags loaded, guns sighted etc.

COVID UPDATE - Level 1

Based on Ministry for Health and Sports NZ guidelines we are game on.

We believe we can operate safely with a few changes to our normal operating procedure and in doing so the risk is minimal to all participants.

The rules in place under Level 1 are as follows:

- If you’re sick, stay home. Don't come to the game. You will be sent home.
- We ask that you all PLEASE continue to use the tracing app. If there's another outbreak you'll be helping to nip it in the bud quickly.

There's no definite dates unfortunately. This was meant to be in Feb, but was delayed due to Nats. The plan is that they will be every other month, and will alternate between a CSG Saturday date and a TAG Sunday date. Details are still being finalised though, so don't hold me to this I do want to get dates set and locked in some way in advance to make it easier for everyone, both participants and planners.

Forecast is looking a bit iffy for Sunday. Make sure to check this post before heading to the field. I will update it by 0730 on Sunday if anything changes. Only a heavy downpour tends to penetrate the canopy so it is unlikely we will cancel this event. Just make sure to bring appropriate clothing!

This is a MilSim after all, so chin up and pip pip.
