GROUND: The Red Forest is the ten-square-kilometre area surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant within the Exclusion Zone.

SITUATION: The Zone has escalated into full-blown conflict as Duty struggles to maintain control of the Barrier following the annihilation of the Freedom faction. The resulting power vacuum has created a perfect opportunity for the fanatical Monolith to seize control and achieve their ultimate goal: to spread the deadly and unpredictable Zone beyond its borders and unleash its catastrophic effects on the outside world.
As if this weren't enough, the ruthless Bandit faction has emerged from the shadows, preying on the weakened factions and exploiting the chaos inside the Zone.
MISSION: To defend the barrier from Monolith incursion and prevent the Zone from spreading.
EXECUTION: The previous Duty garrison stationed at the Barrier has requested urgent reinforcements. A Duty platoon, callsign 'Kaban' has been tasked with securing the Barrier at all costs and prevent any Monolith incursion into the area. Once the area is secured, Kaban will be responsible for maintaining the perimeter and conducting patrols. Kaban is authorized to engage any hostile STALKERS on sight and defend the Barrier with lethal force.
ADMIN: Ammunition will be supplied, but each STALKER is responsible for their own weapons, armour, sustainment gear and medical supplies (TQ). STALKERS should carry a gasmask (with impact resistant lenses) or respirator to access all areas of The Zone.
COMMAND AND COMMUNICATIONS: Commanding officers have been assigned (1-1). Orders and updates will be provided via radio communication.

Red Forest 2 is a 12 hour continuous scenario, with a STALKER theme. Orders will be received via radio.
This will be suitable for players with some MILSIM experience and is R18 (or R16 with a firearms licence).
Event is open to all and club guns available as per usual.
ASNZ FPS rules apply with ammo being supplied.

A training tourniquet is required to play. These will be available to purchase at $10 each if you do not already have one.
