Verdicts on G&G

Right guys, for all who have a G&G, just wanting to know how you think they go in general. Seems like their mags are a bit shocking but I'm sure they will be fixed (with tape I am told?).

Anyways, was interested in a MP5 from their range due to unknown reasons, the MP5 just has a look about it..

Anyways, hints, tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Omega.

i've been very unimpressed by what i have seen. Quality is decidedly average. I know of 2 AKMS's that have arrived needing some work to actually get working (as in to get shooting at all).

If you are wanting an MP5, your best bet is the CA or ICS range. Very good quality guns.

My AK104 is great, solid as no issues at all.

The guys with the M4's have had all sorts of mag issues, they are using King Arms mags though not G&G mags.

I own a G&G G4 CQB-R.............Its a nice low budget weapon with the metal body which also makes it feel solid and nice in your hands.

It fires well and works well when needed. I have had some mag issues which is a bit of a bugger. (The mags fall out after inserting)

The mags worked well for the first couple of weeks but then they started falling out. The square hole which holds the mags in became bent outwards, which makes the mags fall out.

I don't think I would buy another, as it was a more of a test / experiment for me to see what the workmanship and quality of the weapon was like.

I would personally stick with the Tokyo Mauri Airsoft Weapons, As I feel their quality is better....But you are also paying a much higher price.

The TM's can be Customised / Upgraded with G&P metal bodies and other bits and pieces to make a fantastic weapon. (can be expensive upgrading tho)

How much do you want for the G4 :D :D
I would like to have a look at the mag holder and see with a bit of engineering I could fix the problem. Let me know. :D :D

sorry about those tards on the ASNZ forums Omega. ANyways just say your dad is gonna buy it and they'll all shut up

I'm actually thinking of buying an ICS MP5SD6 in the near future. I've been told they are awesome guns, and not to expensive either.

It's all good, many of them haven't really grasped the idea of me getting involved yet not actually having my gear until I am 16. Funny thing was, I was only looking!

Anyways, yeah I would be really interested in your ICS MP5 Acey if you get one, for some reason I have a love for MP5's so would love to see how you think it goes.

Cheers,
Omega.
