Green gas, 134a?

Hey everyone,

What's the best option here? Green gas or 134a? Is either of them actually BAD for your gun? I was told using only green gas will 'ruin your slide within a year', but how reliable that person is I don't know. Please let me know what you guys think. Good to get a few opinions.

Cheers!

Re: Green gas, 134a?

Propane is very hard on your gun you need to add silicon now and then to help keep you mags and slides lubricated. Green gas if the better one to use as it already has Silicon mixed into the gas which helps protect the slide action and the rubber seals in the mags. Have never heard of green gas been bad for your gun. The only diffrence from propane and green gas is the price. Hope this helps. :D :D :D :D
